The SDLE PROGRAM is a 3 months impact program targeted at 10-17 years old early adolescent girls in public and private schools in the Federal Capital Territory, Nigeria

Application date: 20th February 2023 –  14th March 2023.

The SDLE PROGRAM is a 3 months impact program targeted at 10-17 years old early adolescent girls in public and private schools in the Federal Capital Territory, Nigeria that will cover training and access to: 
S– Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights
D– Digital Rights, safety and Internet Privacy
L– Leadership for adolescent girls
E– Ending Discrimination Against Young Girls

Project objective

This program is designed with a sustainable and long-term intervention model based on information gathered from analyzing locally generated data and needs assessment.
The implementation of the SDLE program will achieve the following:
  • Educate girls on their sexual and reproductive health and rights
  • Train young girls on their digital rights while safeguarding them from online exploitation through online safety and privacy
  • Equip them on contemporary digital skills so they can be prepared for the future of work and become economically empowered 
  • Stimulate their desire for active participation in leadership roles
  • Ignite an unwavering self-belief through soft skills training
  • Encourage critical thinking, active interaction, team building, collaboration and participation in activities
  • End discrimination by educating them on their human rights and preventing Gender Based Violence
  • Offer 3 months counseling and support, peer to peer learning, mentorship and access to Seedbuilders Safe Space
  • Set up a safe space and a digital center for the overall winning school
Sign up your secondary school to participate in the SDLE program for young and adolescent girls between the ages of 10 – 17 years in the FCT.
